"For more than 20 years as - among other things - a neuroscientist, speaker and adventurer, I’ve loved to hunt down and pass on the best brain stories.
The brain never disappoints when it comes to fascinating, inspiring, or downright scary stories about what it means to be human"
Where do we best invest our extra time and energy to get the most out of life?
Come along as job and everyday life are replaced with a 2-year sailing trip around the world in scientific pursuit of the good life. From the world's poorest neighbourhoods to extreme luxury in a Polynesian paradise, we meet people, cultures and explore the science behind a good life.
How do we avoid daily stress?
How can we build mental resilience?
How much can we control our own happiness?
Can money make us happier?
How many friends should we have?
How do we become successful in love?
How do we best choose our career?
How does the news media affect our lives?
What about social media? …and much more…
Come along as brains from all four corners of the world offer everyday-tested career guidance about the good life.
Jes and Storm, a neuroscientist and a production manager, quit their jobs and sailed around the world to meet people and investigate the science behind a good life. All at a speed of 10 km/h. The project was funded by the Lundbeck Foundation in Denmark.
I have a MSc in Biochemistry and a PhD in Medicine. After more than 10 years in brain research, I left the labs for new challenges in communication, talent development and inspirational science talks. This led me to become the strange mix of producer, communication consultant and science speaker I now enjoy.
